Community Guidelines

Ka Step is intended to be a useful and safer community platform for people in Meghalaya. These guidelines apply to listings, profiles, messages, reviews and other user content.

Allowed

• Accurate second-hand and genuine branded products.
• Lawful job opportunities with truthful descriptions.
• Lawful house/property rental listings.
• Tourist spots and lawful tourism-related information.
• Respectful communication and genuine enquiries.

Not Allowed

• Fraud, scams, impersonation or misleading claims.
• Counterfeit or pirated goods.
• Stolen property or property offered without lawful authority.
• Illegal drugs, weapons or other prohibited goods/services.
• Fake jobs, recruitment scams and deceptive rental offers.
• Harassment, threats, hateful abuse or exploitation.
• Malware, phishing links or attempts to steal credentials.
• Content involving sexual exploitation of minors or other unlawful exploitation.
• Spam, duplicate manipulation, fake reviews or artificial engagement.

Enforcement

Content may be reviewed and restricted or removed when it violates these Guidelines, our Terms, applicable law or a valid legal request. Serious or repeated violations may result in account restrictions.
