1. About Ka Step

Ka Step Channel ("Ka Step", "we", "us", or "our") is a digital platform intended for users in Meghalaya, India. The platform allows users to create and discover listings such as second-hand products, genuine branded products, jobs, house/property rentals, tourist spots and related services.

2. Platform Model

Ka Step provides technology and communication features for users. Except where expressly stated, Ka Step is not the seller, buyer, employer, employee, landlord, tenant, travel operator, tour operator, manufacturer, brand owner, broker or contracting party in a transaction between users.

Users are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings and for agreements they make with other users.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate account information.
• You must protect your login credentials and must not share OTPs, passwords or authentication tokens.
• You must not impersonate another person or create deceptive accounts.
• We may restrict or terminate accounts for serious or repeated policy violations.

4. User Listings

Users may list permitted products, jobs, rentals, tourist information and other permitted offerings. Listings must be truthful, current, lawful and not misleading.

Ka Step may remove, restrict or request changes to listings that violate law, these Terms or our policies.

5. No Product Payment Through Ka Step

Ka Step does not process, collect, hold, escrow or settle payments for products, jobs, rentals or other agreements made between users.

Users may communicate through Ka Step and may independently agree on payment, delivery, meeting, employment or rental arrangements. Any such arrangement is between the users, and users should independently verify identity, ownership, price, documents, payment details and other relevant facts.

Ka Step may separately offer paid subscriptions. Subscription payments are payments for Ka Step's platform features and are separate from any transaction between users.

6. Subscription Plans

Upload limits and other platform features may depend on the subscription plan attached to an account. The applicable plan page at the time of purchase will state the relevant limits and features.

Where a subscription plan states that advertisements are disabled, qualifying subscribers will not be shown Google advertisements in the areas covered by that plan. Advertising status may depend on the active subscription and technical availability.

7. Jobs, Rentals and Tourist Listings

Job listings do not constitute employment by Ka Step. Rental listings do not establish ownership or tenancy rights. Tourist listings do not constitute a guarantee by Ka Step about safety, quality, availability or licensing of the location or service.

8. Prohibited Activities

Users must not use Ka Step for illegal goods or services, counterfeit goods, stolen property, fraud, scams, impersonation, fake jobs, deceptive rentals, harassment, exploitation, malware, prohibited financial schemes or other prohibited activity.

9. Intellectual Property

Users must have the right to upload photographs, text, logos and other content they submit. Ka Step may process and display that content as necessary to operate the platform, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

10. Reports and Moderation

Users can report listings or accounts. We may review reports, request information, restrict content, remove content or suspend accounts. Where appropriate, we may preserve or disclose information in response to valid legal requests.

11. Availability

We may change, suspend or discontinue features, including listing limits and subscription benefits, for operational, security, legal or product reasons.

12. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, Ka Step does not guarantee that user-generated listings are authentic, accurate, complete, safe, available, lawful or suitable. Nothing in these Terms excludes a liability or legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are intended for use in India and should be interpreted subject to applicable Indian law. Any specific jurisdiction clause should be finalized with Indian legal counsel based on the operator's actual legal structure and location.
