Payments

Ka Step does not process product, job, rental or user-to-user transaction payments. Be careful with payment links, QR codes and screenshots sent by another person. Verify the recipient and transaction independently before paying.

Products

Inspect products where practical, verify identity and ownership, compare information, and avoid pressure to pay before verification.

Jobs

Be cautious if a recruiter asks for registration fees, security deposits, OTPs, banking credentials or payment to obtain a job.

Rentals

Verify the property, landlord/authorised agent and relevant documents before paying a deposit or signing an agreement.

Meetings

For local exchanges, use sensible safety precautions, meet in appropriate public locations where practical and tell someone you trust about the meeting.

Report Fraud

Report suspicious listings or accounts through Ka Step and contact local law-enforcement or cybercrime authorities where appropriate.
